Chiropractic Biophysics aka Clinical Biomechanics of Posture
Chiropractic Biophysics, also known as Clinical Biomechanics of Posture, or CBP, is one of the world’s most published approaches in chiropractic healthcare. Dr. Jason O. Jaeger was chosen to join the CBP instructor team in 2010, and he is one of only some twenty-two instructors worldwide. One of his major contributions to the CBP Team is the invention of the Universal Tractioning Systems or UTS. UTS is an all-in-one spinal rehabilitation system that facilitates the correction and/or reduction of dangerous health care conditions such as scoliosis, loss of cervical ( neck) curve, thoracic ( mid back) hyper-kyphosis, and loss or increase of lumbar (lower back) lordosis. There is evidence to support health related conditions associated with the abnormal alignment of the spine.
Evidence and Ethics in healthcare is Dr. Jaeger’s primary goal. In fact, he says that it’s his guiding motivation. Dr. Jaeger believes that a chiropractic physician should follow a “Best Practices Guideline” in his or her practice and healthcare interventions. As the growing body of evidence continues to mount within the chiropractic profession, Dr. Jaeger says that a doctor worth his salt keeps up with the most current best practices. Of particular importance to him is chiropractic’s role in preventing patients from ever feeling the need to take opiate medication. He also believes that chiropractic has a lot of potential in helping patients work with other healthcare providers to help break opiate addiction.
Dr. Jaeger is been in active clinical practice for more than 18 years.
Additionally he has served as adjunct faculty at multiple universities and colleges, historically and currently, around the United States. Dr. Jaeger has professionally lectured around the world since 2010 on many subjects regarding the spine, chiropractic, and health.
While school teaches chiropractic students the best methods of health care interventions for our particular field, there is not enough attention given to teaching business practice management.
As a national and international leader in communicating in the field of chiropractic, Dr. Jaeger teaches chiropractic physicians how to have meaningful dialogue with their patients in order to arrive at the best and most appropriate healthcare choices.
